Free Back Check
A complimentary 15 minute appointment, involving a fully clothed posture assessment and movement tests.
This highlights areas that may not be working optimally, and indicates if it’s something we can help with.
It is not an official diagnosis, which requires a full consultation. This is an excellent option if you are unsure if chiropractic is the right choice for you, and would like to find out more before booking a consultation.
Free Back Checks are available at Align, or at your place of work, to help keep your staff healthy and reduce absenteeism.
We offer three types of massage therapy at Align: Deep Tissue Massage, Holistic Massage, and Foot Reflexology by our experienced professional massage therapists Molly Gyles, Helen Dear, and Sophie Kermerac.
Massage really complements chiropractic care.
Deep Tissue Massage (DTM) uses firm pressure to help get tight muscles working properly. It often involves focussing on specific muscle groups, although full body massages are also popular.
Holistic Massage is for relaxation. One of the biggest problems in our society is ‘chronic stress’, where we keep hold of tensions and don’t ever really unwind. This can actually cause disease! Our bodies can’t heal properly if we don’t ever go into a real state of relaxation, so for a lot of us Holistic Massage can literally be a lifesaver!
Foot Reflexology involves gentle and subtle pressures and actions on specific points on the whole foot so that the whole body gains a profound and lasting rebalancing. It can help: Strenghten the immune system, eliminate toxins, purify the organs, and bring a state of deep relaxation and clarity.
Western acupuncture is a quick and comfortable way to relieve pain, tension and ‘knots’ in the muscles, which can be included within your chiropractic sessions or as a standalone therapy.
Western works by influencing the way your brain perceives and regulates pain. It also helps reduce muscle tension, and can help to stimulate healing of tendons and other tissues. It is a very useful additional treatment which helps to maximise the effects of the chiropractic adjustments by allowing the muscles to relax better.
It is not the same as acupuncture used in Traditional Chinese Medicine, which is a completely separate system of healthcare.
Teaching your employees how to avoid and treat aches and pains can save you a lot of money.
We can come to your office and give a 30 minute health talk, and even check your staff on-site with our Free Back Check service.
Employees like to feel their company is looking after them, and this is a great way to do it.
